Senior Content Writer

Overview

We are seeking a creative and strategic wordsmith to lead content initiatives across a diverse range of platforms. This role is central to enhancing brand voice and engaging target audiences through well-crafted, purposeful content. The ideal candidate will bring both flair and structure to storytelling, ensuring all material produced is aligned with broader marketing objectives.

What Youll Be Doing

• Shape and deliver content strategies that support brand positioning, campaign objectives, and audience engagement goals.
• Write clear, persuasive, and engaging content for websites, online publications, and other digital assets.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including visual design, marketing, video, events, and commercial teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
• Stay ahead of industry movements by researching trends, competitors, and emerging audience behaviours.
• Develop standout headlines, taglines, and messaging that captivates audiences and inspires action.
• Review and refine existing content to maintain high standards of quality, tone, and clarity.
• Support and mentor junior team members, providing editorial guidance and encouraging professional development.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to strengthen content authority and expand thought leadership opportunities.

What Youll Need

• A degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or similar is beneficial, though not essential with the right experience.
• A background in the iGaming or similarly fast-paced digital environment.
• Demonstrated experience in content creation, supported by a robust portfolio that highlights both technical and creative writing.
• Deep understanding of tailoring content for multiple channels and diverse audience segments.
• Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals and experience applying them to optimise copy.
• Exceptional research and synthesis skills to simplify complex topics into accessible content.
• Precision in grammar, tone, and detail, with a knack for editing.
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Familiarity with design or multimedia tools like Photoshop is a plus.
