This key supply chain position will be responsible for strategic sourcing activities including price and contract term negotiations, cost reduction, KPI tracking, score carding, supply continuity and resiliency, technology evaluation, and supply-demand planning for data center physical security products and suppliers.
**Responsibilities**
Interfaces with internal and supplier stakeholders to provide cost-effective procurement of materials and components for company product supply chain. Provides direction and specialist knowledge in supply chain strategies for continuous cost improvement through partner negotiations. Conducts competitive analysis of data center physical security products, cost models, market analysis and supply chain alternatives. Leads cross line of business teams to drive competitive cost, supplier performance and supply chain efficiencies.
Evaluates submitted proposals/quotes against Oracle standards. Manage data center physical security product suppliers that meet stakeholder requirements. Negotiates and executes supplier contractual agreements while sustaining product competitiveness. Track and provide supplier performance feedback to ensure Oracle standards are achieved. Creates and implements supply chain initiatives and improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices. Develops constructive stakeholder relationships which involve direct interaction with different Oracle lines of business and Oracle networking suppliers. Influences product selection with stakeholders based on continuity of supply, cost, and technology. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, negotiations, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Job duties are varied and complex; independent judgment needed. May have project lead role. Prefer 10+ years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
This role will have led commercial responsibility for data center physical security products such as cameras, badge readers, as well as other products used in the protection of Oracle services. It will involve quoting, negotiating, contracting, awarding, and managing the physical security products from inventory procurement through product deliveries to end destinations. This will require excellent leadership, collaboration, and analytical skills. Learning agility and strategic sourcing skills are critical for success in this role, as the successful candidate will be expected to manage moderate to high complexity supply chain optimization projects that many cases will involve collaboration with product management, finance, legal, trade compliance, engineering, and procurement team members. Adaptability and speed of execution are also essential for success in the current global supply chain environment.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
