Gray Malin Enterprises is a photography company with a lifestyle brand and e-commerce site. We sell fine art photography prints as well as other goods/products for the home on and through wholesale accounts such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Gray Malin Enterprises is seeking a friendly, experienced and skilled Photography Editor in a freelance capacity to support the Gray Malin creative team in all aspects of shooting and editing lifestyle and product photography. The ideal candidate meets and exceeds productivity goals with a proven capacity to think creatively, demonstrate application of relevant skills set, maintain a high level of professionalism, organization & time management, and is exceedingly detail oriented. The position will be primarily remote, though the candidate will need to do some in person meetings & join the team on site as needed, so the candidate should reside within the greater Los Angeles / Southern California region.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Shooting and editing product & lifestyle photography content for company website and social media

- Capturing professional assets with a range of cameras, lenses, and on iPhone

- Photo editing in all relevant Adobe programs, especially Photoshop & Lightroom

- Editing video clips for behind the scenes content and social media as needed

- Photography of interior décors including staging & lighting as necessary for optimal asset capture

- Organizing all images shot in line with the company standards

- Managing multiple tasks at once and delivering agreed upon assets within an agreed upon deadline

- Taking initiative when assigned projects in a timely manner

- Hours and work to be agreed upon monthly, with weekly 10 hour minimums, with schedule flexibility.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom, with timely editing skills

- Proficiency in video editing applications including Premier Pro

- Experience photographing product

- Experienced knowledge in lifestyle & interior design photography, including outdoor and studio lighting techniques

- Excellent communication

- Ability to work within quick turn-around times

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Photography or related field.

- 5+ Years similar experience.
