Job Description

Light Packer - Industrial -
1st Shift- 7am-3:30pm, Monday- Friday

Primary Job Functions:

Once bulk parts and labels are received (from the Packing Coordinator), determine order needs.
Obtain the correct size of box for packaging the parts.
Check the warehouse for any partial boxes of parts.
Fill boxes to appropriate quantity. This can be done by hand counting the parts or using a scale.
Once boxes are filled, a barcode label is placed on the outside of the box.

Additional Duties:

Comply with all company policies, instructions, and directions to fulfill company objectives.
Address all issues with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
Act in the company's best interest at all times.

Participate in relevant continuing education programs as identified or proposed by executive management.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience
At least an 8th-grade education.
Communication Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Ability to utilize measuring devices.
Specific Requirement
Regular attendance.
