Overview:
We are partnered with an established Insurance Company looking for its first official attorney to coincide with its General Counsel and grow out its legal team. This position will play a critical role in daily legal functions across multiple facets of the business and be an incredible opportunity to assist in our client's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare legal memoranda and advisory opinions.
• Support the management of insurance-related matters, including claims handling and coordination with insurance agents.
• Review, interpret, and advise on a variety of contractual legal documents.
• Draft and review corporate and transactional documents with precision and clarity.
• Identify potential legal, regulatory, and business risks, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to business leaders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia.
• 3-7 years of relevant legal experience
• Demonstrated expertise in P&C and/or Professional Liability insurance
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.
• Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
