IDEALFORCE has a Contract position available immediately for a Storage Engineer - Enterprise Storage Administrator to join our customer in Phoenix AZ . This is an On-Site Position. We are seeking a proactive and skilled Enterprise Storage Administrator to manage and enhance our storage environment with various complementary tools. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable system visibility, rapid issue detection, and effective response coordination across our city infrastructure.

• Storage Administration: All duties relating to storage administration including but not limited to design, configuration, security, maintenance of enterprise data storage systems, proactive monitoring and utilization reports, troubleshoot performance problems, refresh data between environments, develop SOPs, and follow ITIL practices.
• Monitoring Configuration & Maintenance: Design and maintain dashboards, reports, alerts; manage documentation templates for SOPs and knowledge transfer.
• Daily System Health & Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily health checks, schedule system reboots or failovers for patching or outages.
• Incident & Ticket Management: Handle ServiceNow tickets, open vendor support cases, collaborate with teams and vendors.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Attend meetings, provide status updates, maintain clear communication about system health.

• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with storage platforms, strong understanding of storage, network, server and application principles, proficiency in fiber channel, NAS, server technologies, networking concepts.
• Operational Skills: Ability to perform health checks, patching, maintenance, experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, documentation, knowledge sharing, training.

• Certifications SNIA and vendor published storage certifications.
• Strong fiber channel experience with Cisco MDS and Brocade infrastructure.
• Experience with VMware, Microsoft, and Linux server environments.
