We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Driver to transport goods and materials to and from designated locations in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, maintaining the vehicle, and providing excellent customer service.
Safely operate a box truck (typically 14-26 feet in length) to deliver products to customers, warehouses, or distribution centers.
Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment or assist with manual loading as required.
Verify the accuracy of delivery documentation including invoices, manifests, and delivery logs.
Ensure cargo is properly secured and meets all safety and transportation regulations.
Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff.
Use GPS or route planning systems to navigate and deliver on time.
Maintain daily logs and reports on vehicle performance and trip summaries.
Provide professional and courteous service to customers at all delivery points.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Class A Driver
Clean driving record.
1+ years of experience as a delivery or commercial driver preferred.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading.
Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Dependable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Experience using electronic logging devices (ELDs), GPS systems, or route planning tools.
Forklift certification (if required for loading/unloading).
Customer service experience.
May require early mornings, late evenings, or occasional weekends.
Exposure to varying weather conditions.
Frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
